Why the COBRA OPTM MAX FAIRWAY WOOD

🏆

Tour-Proven Performance

The Cobra OPTM MAX Fairway Wood is engineered for the player who needs their fairway wood to be the most reliable club in the bag — not just on perfect swings, but on the less-than-perfect ones that happen more often than we'd like to admit. If you've ever topped a fairway wood, struggled to get the ball airborne off the deck, or watched your shots leak right because you caught it toward the toe, the OPTM MAX is designed to minimize every one of those misses.

The oversized head and high-MOI design resist twisting on off-center hits, while Cobra's H.O.T. Face technology ensures competitive ball speed even when contact is less than ideal. The higher launch angle helps get the ball up quickly and land softly, making it ideal for attacking greens from 180-220 yards where most mid-to-high handicappers lose the most strokes. This is the fairway wood that turns a problem club into a confidence club.

Pro Tip from Gregg Rogers Golf: Pair the OPTM MAX with the Graphite Design Tour AD DI 53g shaft for an easy-to-launch, lightweight profile that maximizes carry distance without requiring excessive swing speed, and play the Titleist Pro V1x ball to add extra yards and height to every fairway wood shot.

🌀

Draw-Bias Weighting

The MAX is intentionally built with a left-bias for players battling a slice. Strategic weight placement shifts the CG toward the heel, creating higher launch and quicker face closure for high, soft draws.

⚡

Low POI Shaping

Strategic shaping and weight placement minimize Products of Inertia (POI) to dramatically reduce twisting on off-center hits — for a more stable, accurate clubhead that finds more fairways.

🎯

FutureFit33 Adjustability

FutureFit33 offers 33 loft & lie settings for optimized ball flight, tighter dispersion, and more distance — adjustable by ±2 degrees in any direction.

🔧

SMARTPAD Face

SMARTPAD technology keeps the face square at address across every FutureFit33 setting, so your alignment stays true no matter how you tune your loft and lie.

📏

4 Lofts — Tee to Green

From the 3-wood (15.5°) to the 9-wood (24.5°), the COBRA OPTM MAX FAIRWAY WOOD lineup gives you a complete set of versatile, slice-correcting fairway options.

Great 3 wood

This club is longer than my Callaway TD Ti. Thought I would try something different (brand) and glad I did. Had to make some adjustments to the settings — dialed in, this wood is so accurate, long, and easy to work. It's truly an amazing club. Glad I've made the investment.
