The Cobra King MAX Custom Irons are built for the player who wants the most forgiving iron set Cobra makes — without sacrificing the distance and launch characteristics that make the game more enjoyable. If you struggle with consistency on iron shots, find it hard to get the ball airborne from the fairway, or watch your mishits fall dramatically short, the King MAX addresses every one of those challenges with maximum forgiveness in a surprisingly attractive package.

The oversized head, wide sole, and low CG work together to get the ball up quickly and easily from any lie. The high-MOI design keeps ball speed competitive even on off-center strikes, so your distance is more consistent than ever. The progressive hosel lengths and sole widths ensure that even the long irons are launchable while the short irons maintain precision. For players who want to enjoy the game more and stress less about their iron play, the King MAX makes golf more fun.

Pro Tip from Gregg Rogers Golf: Pair the King MAX with a KBS MAX MT 75 Regular shaft for the lightest, easiest-to-launch setup, and play the Titleist Velocity ball to maximize distance on every iron shot.

COBRA KING MAX Technology

PWRSHELL Face: A thin, forged L-shaped face wraps onto the sole, dramatically widening the high-COR speed zone for more ball speed on every strike.
PWR-Sole Channel: A flexing sole channel boosts launch and ball speed on the low-face strikes that typically lose distance.
Tungsten Weighting: Heavy tungsten toe weighting lowers CG and raises MOI for a high, stable launch and tighter dispersion.
Wide Sole Geometry: A broader, more forgiving sole improves turf interaction and lowers CG for higher-launching, easier-to-hit irons.
