FRUSTRATED BY FAILURE BUT

DETERMINED & DRIVEN

TO IMPROVE

Motivated by an unyielding drive to improve and hindered by a lack of accessible resources for adequate feedback, he embarked on a journey of trial and error. Despite investing significant time and money in lessons with a renowned "Top 100" Golf Instructor, he found himself disillusioned when the instructor could identify issues but lacked the means to rectify them. Frustrated by repeated failures in a seemingly straightforward game like golf, he turned to technology for solutions.

Knowing he could improve, he took matters into his own hands. He improvised by commissioning a local cabinet maker to construct a portable unit equipped with a television, VCR, and rechargeable power source. This allowed him to record his own swings at the range, hoping to refine his technique. However, his efforts revealed that many of the teachings he had received were ineffective, and in some cases, counterproductive. Moreover, he discovered that the fundamental principles he had been taught differed significantly from what he observed through his research on movement and learning. The fundamentals of movement soon proved to be the most influential sources of improving the process.

Determined to find a reliable path forward, he delved into various movement disciplines and meticulously analyzed thousands of swings. Through years of dedicated research and observation, he developed a unique methodology that forms the cornerstone of his coaching model today. Thus, Gregg Rogers' Golf Performance Centers emerged from his journey, driven by the mission to guide others through the process of mastering the game he holds dear. Today, Gregg conducts nearly 4,000 coaching sessions annually, fueled by his passion for golf, which he regards as the greatest game on earth.
