Pro Tip from Gregg Rogers Golf: Pair your PING G440 HL CUSTOM Irons with a PING-recommended shaft from our extensive fitting matrix, and play the Titleist Pro V1 ball for precise spin and distance control throughout the iron set.
PING G440 HL Technology
High-Launch Tuning — Built on the G440 platform but tuned for slower swing speeds with lighter swingweights (C8) and the lightweight ALTA Quick graphite shaft to help generate more speed and distance.
Premium Performance — The next-generation PurFlex cavity badge expands and contracts for more distance, improved sound and feel, and a premium chrome interior.
Low CG, High MOI — A shallower, thinner face saves weight that's placed lower and farther back in the head, lowering the CG for more ball speed and tighter dispersion.
Thinner, Faster Face — Shallower face height, shorter blade length, and thin topline deliver a players-iron look with the forgiveness and consistency of a game-improvement design.
PING G440 HL Specifications
The PING G440 HL is the high-launch variant of the G440 iron — same fast face and forgiving design as G440, optimized with lighter swingweights and ALTA Quick graphite shafts to help moderate swing speeds maximize distance and trajectory.
